Hello... First time Android Owner

Hello everyone.. I'm am at the infant stage of being an android owner.
I just purchased the HTC G2 via T-mobile and have lots to learn.
The main issues I need some assistance with is "Battery Life"
I have read on several forums suggestions on how to eliminate using so much of the battery's life. I have followed these suggestions but would like any additional suggestions if possible. I turned off Background Sync. I always turn off any apps I do not want to run by going to Applications and viewing running apps. I just don't know if there are hidden apps or programs I may not be seeing that I need to turn off if I am not using.
I have had my G2 for only 3 days today being my 4th.

Happy to be here and learn as much as I can to utilize the ablities of my android phone as well as how to conserve the battery life..

Hi Lisa basically battery life is always gonna be a problem on these phones cuz its always doing something. Tips i could suggest download this app called "battery doctor" works pretty well. Also the amount of apps you have factors in battery life. Also. Display settings. App notification settings and other things are taken in effect. I hope i helped if you need anymore questions hit me up

From what I have read, putting in a new higher MAH battery does a ton.....like the Evo2 battery with the plastic trimmed off is what I am going to get.

The first thing any of us are going to need to be able to help much is a bit more info on the kinds of things you do with the phone on a daily basis. There are also small changes such as turn off notifications in facebook that can increase battery life. If you can give us some sort of overview of how and what you use we can try to help more.

Since my last post.. I have noticed a BIG improvement by adjusting the items I listed previously.. Basically All I do text and log into Facebook periodically. I also use the actual internet to view some sites, but not continously through out the day. Is 14 hours of battery life good?
