My wife and I took advantage of BOGOF deal at Verizon, both got Droid Eris. I was debating Moto Droid for sole reason it has 2.0, but sales rep told me Eris will get 2.0 or later soon, so I went with Eris as well.
Wife always wanted, and still does, iPhone, but Verizon has been good to us and not willing to make switch to AT&T just for a phone. She is coming around, liking the Eris more and more. See you in the forums.
