[justme2013]

This is Don in Virginia, nice to meet you all. I have quite a bit of web app dev experience but don't have java development background, not sure if that would really hurt android app dev, thoughts?

[Metroid Prime]

Hi Don and welcome aboard! I'm afraid I don't know anything of app development or java, but you should check out this section. Application Development
You should get better info and support there.
If you need any help navigating the site please let us staffers know.

Thank you for your kind words and for the pointer, metroid,
question, what's the difference between
subforum
Android Applications - Android Forums
and subform,
Application Development - Android Forums

I've posted a question on the first one.

[Digital Controller]

Welcome to the forums Don!

The difference between those forums is that Android Applications is where Applications are posted and discussed about, or if someone if having issues with an application it goes there.

However, the Application Development forums is for people developing applications who need help with some particular issue in programming and such.

If you have anymore questions feel free to ask

Thanks.
