Hello thar.

Asylum

Lurker
You guys probably hear the same bullshit over and over but here goes, I'm new here, got my android on Monday 11/14/2011.

At the moment I own a I-phone 3GS from AT&T and a Samsung Admire from MetroPCS, Hands down I'm loving the android.
I have jail broke and modded the living f*ck out of the iphone and yet it all is much more powerful and simplistic on Androids.

Anywho, I'm a relaxed person, you'll either love me or hate me. I talk like a trucker and have been rage-punted out of chat multiple times for it. I'm learning, and for the most part the members I've dealt with in the chat are very courteous to me. I feel like I'm going to have a decent stay here.

Welcome to Android Forums, Asylum! :)

No doubt there are people with thin skins in every forum so we do our best to keep the threads non-confrontational. A big step in maintaining the friendly helpful atmosphere here is the dedication of the staff in stopping things before they get out of control. If a member steps over a line, don't get 'all up in their face' as it were, but instead use the little red report button on the left and ask a mod to review the situation.

Remember that while somebody may push one of your buttons, there are kids and grandmothers reading these posts, too.

Glad to have you on board and try to keep it (relatively) clean. :)

Welcome!

Android Forums tries to be all things to all members, whatever their age, gender and background, which is probably why we have such a large and (for the most part) happy community here. I hope you'll enjoy being part of it.

Wow, Thanks for the very warm welcome everyone.
This forums seems pretty awesome, I never really am one to start things, If in doubt troll it out.

There seems to be all sorts of people, I never judge by age either, since I come from a hacking community I know 12 year olds that are far superior in intelligence then some 30 year olds. I Used to be involved in PsP modding and creating codes for games on requests back when the phat PsP was out. That was the closest community I was ever involved in. It's nice to see a kicked back place where there's no interweb drama.

Asylum, glad to have you here! Good to see your appreciation for Android. You'll like AF! This is the most well informed central point of its kind on the net!
