Hi! I just got an HTC Hero on Sprint last week. It replaced an older Blackberry Curve 8330. I'm excited to learn more about this platform's capabilities. I'm a total noob when it comes to Android, but I'm learning. Hopefully this forum will help me out when I need it, and I will contribute whenever I can.

Hello back to you, too. Congrats on the new phone! The forum is amazing, but it's easy to get lost in here with all the information available and find out you've killed 3 hours without noticing.

When you know you've got a couple hours to kill, hunt down the "AppBrain" threads, it'll let you take a look at what other users have installed on their phones, and it's a great way to find some really neat programs. It's also a good way to get your wife yelling at you that it's long past time that you got your butt to bed....lol.

Two apps I consider to be "musts" on the phone: Call Log Trimmer and Not Call Log Prefs.
