Root Hello :) Who wants a deodexed ROM??

Sup folks? I've made up my mind that I will be joining you guys in the next few weeks, we're looking at the end of November to mid December cause I want it to be on sale when I buy it lol #BrokeProblems.

As some of you know or may not know, I'm a ROM developer. Now I'm not the kind if ROM developer where you get cm10 aosp and all those cool other Roms but when i drop a few Roms here and there with some sweet features, let's just say you forget about the cm10 and aosp for a while;).

Now my main questions are do you guys have a working/partially cwm where you can backup, restore and flash zips in case of a boot loop or any other bugs in the future?

If so I need someone on completely stock NO EDITS TO THE SYSTEM WHATSOEVER, to back it up with cwm and upload it to me. Once I have that I will start working on a stock ROM that's deodexed and have a few tweaks and small features here and there. I'm not gonna go crazy and put all theses mods in it cause I don't have the phone yet so we're just gonna keep it simple for now.

Oh when I get this phone I'll be asking a lot of stupid questions and seem quite noobish, lol bare with me. This is my first android phone from LG let alone with a locked bootloader.
 
Pretty sure I made a stock backup after I rooted. We have this sorta working com that isn't permanent as out boot loader isn't unlocked but even in it's temp state it works well enough to flash stuff and make backups. Was hoping I would be able to make a flashable zip in the cwm but it's based on an older version of cwm where that feature isn't available.
 
Only for stock kernel, it was not meant for the L7 it is for other lg phones but we got lucky and it works, if you flash a different kernel or something, u can always us the lg tool to go back, "as I understand things"
 
And I don't know what aboot. Img is the dev that mad the kernel for us asked me for it and I am more then happy to help if it means getting more dev content on our devices

The aboot.img is the bootloader partition.
 
Not everyone has the problems. It seems it's only certain devices. I wouldn't just discount this device because of that though. In love this phone and though I initially had the GPS issues, with this replacement handset I have no issues whatsoever.

True true, but that's cause they really needed him for development which is why everyone pitched in. The sg3 already have almost all the most known Roms and tools they'll ever need lol. Besides the optimus f7 has Loki to bypass the boot loader issue, cwm is in the works, and it's looking good so far. When its completed they're gonna need a ROM developer around to drop a few things here and there;) besides mavrik and I always wanted to support the phones that had no hope for devs. Its no fun when everything is already done like with the sg3..... Well I guess there is but lol
 
As for the problems like GPS and and mic, that's most likely a software issue rather than a hardware issue. I'm sure lg will provide some bug fixes in an update soon anyway. Lol I've never had an android phone where after the release there wasn't at least one small update to fix a few things. The f7 will be my 5th android.
 
Got the files to start a deodexed stock rom, i plan to buy the phone around black friday or during cyber monday week so roughly 3 weeks and i probably wont get it for another 3 days since im buying it online. Anyone Eager for a Rom right now or do you guys just wanna wait?
 
I was going to get this phone. help make some Roms for it. i been following the F7 forums all this month with no progress going on with this phone.. with a locked bootloader aint no flashing any Rom.. the best that could happen is some one made a backup of the Rom that they create and have everyone restore it using CWM..

I think i might aget the s3 or waiting on the Moto G..

No flashing roms? Watch me as i prove you wrong in the next few weeks;)
 
Haven't forgotten about you guys, I hoping to order the phone this weekend if people pay me back money that they owe me:mad:. If not then christmas week i'll be ordering it when i get my check and hopefully have a surprise for you all a day or 2 into the new year:smokingsomb:
