I just wanted to introduce myself...I'm Lizzie and I live in the UK. I own a Sony Xperia X10 and totally love it. I have been browsing the site for a few weeks now but felt I needed to join 
My first phone randomly decided that it didn't want to be a phone and accepting calls was way beyond it's limits but I now have a new one, sent out same day delivery and have noticed various interesting differences!
I easily get a whole day of very heavy use of it, lots of emailing/texts/phone calls and some internet use. I keep the GPS off and wi-fi unless I am using it...the GPS does kill the battery but then it kills all batteries!!! I don't have a task manager or Juice Defender installed...last night when I went to charge it I still had 35% battery left and that was after a lot of calls etc during the day!!
Am very very happy and so glad I chose an X10
