Hello Nexus S brothers and sisters today I received my nexus s and I must say its more than worth every penny paid ;) I must say I'm absolutely in love with this phone its so smooth in its ways. I have no idea how people say this is just another galaxy s its not even close its so much more, its a Nexus. Anyways amazing device through and through. More than meets my expectations. A much better build quality than the vibrant. I'm still looking cases for it and haven't found much though and will be looking for screen protector's and would like to know what y'all recommend and as well recommend some apps and tell me your experience with this device :)

For a screen protector, I wouldn't use anything other than Zagg's Invisible Shield. ZAGG | invisibleSHIELD | iPhone, iPod Cases, Screen Protectors, Covers, Shields, Skins, Invisible Shield.

As for Apps, we all use our phones a little differently, you need to explore the market and figure this one out on your own. As for some of the apps I use: Amazon Kindle, Bump, Calendar Pad, Compass, Documents to go, CNET news, Dropbox, eBay, ES File Explorer, facebook (of course), FreeCell, fring, Yahoo Messenger, Movies, Pandora, PrinterShare, Scanner radio, Skype, Speed Test, Swype, Tango, TV.com, WikiMobile, and Zedge.

Of course still waiting for all the video chat apps to support the Nexus S FFC.

Good luck!!

Very true in regards to the market but you never know, there are apps people just StumbleUpon every now and then that they figure is a great app and its always good to hear whats good. Might find something useful or fun that you might never had thought to look for. All suggestions are welcome. Thanks for the suggestions btw, I definitely have those downloaded now:cool:. Also what is Zedge, Bump and Dropbox?

I'm definintely loving my NS too! Super sleek and sexy with its design and I just can't put it down. I'm currently using Launcher Pro, using the scrollable dock to place all my quick launch apps which keeps my main screens clean of icons. The Circle Battery widget keeps the main screen looking clean along with Smooth Calendar and Beautiful Home Weather. The one app I love is WaveSecure. Knowing that if my phone gets lost, it locks down the phone if anyone tries to place their sim in it. It also is able to receive texts to call my backup person to try and return the phone (if they're actually nice enough to do so). It also has a remote wipe feature and backs up my messages, contacts, and call logs. Also Swype works perfectly, even better than my N1.

I do have one question about the Zagg Invisible Sheild. I've used them before, but when I had it installed on my N1, it made the screen look worse. Does anyone know if this is the case for the NS? If not, then I'll jump on getting it installed soon.

I think I will definitely get that WaveSecure lol (especially being one of the rare occasions where I put $200+ towards a phone), is it free? I keep hearing about LauncherPro I guess I'l have to give that a try and see the hype. I am loving the stockness of android though.

You can try WaveSecure for I believe 14 days, but it's a subscription based service. I thought it was well worth it for a small annual fee. As for LauncherPro, you can use the free version to see how you like the interface. The only thing you pay for is the ability to use their widgets. I love the ability to have up to 7 screens, choose my homescreen, and the scrollable dock.
