turn you phone off ... remove SD card .. wipe the gold contacts clean with a tissue ... reinsert ... turn on phone
then take a PIC ... the pic should be saved to the SDcard..

if you get an error from the SDcard.. you may need to try it in a portable reader ...attached to your pc ... if you can read the contents ... then copy/backup all the files/folders to your pc desktop ...

then ... format the sdcard as FAT32 .... and copy your files and folders back onto the the sdcard ... reinstall in phone and check it again ...

if it still doesn't work there may be something wrong with the phone ...

Now with the phone powered ON .... Pull the battery ...
and wait 5 minutes ... reinstall the battery and try again ...

if you still are not able to use the SDcard ... i would return the phone ...
