HELP - 2.1 Update on T-Mobile G2 Gone Wrong

Hello Guys

Hope this is in the right place

I wanted to try and get the 2.1 update for my T-Mobile G2 so I tried the move the date forward thing.

Started the update then the yellow bar was filling itself. So far so good. After the yellow bar was filled about 50%, The box icon changed into a white triangle with a yellow exclamation mark. The yellow progress bar disappeared.

So found out (After a lot of searching) that the "Rom Update" that T-Mobile first did was faulty so re did the right update and then re installed the new firmware

This time it seamed ok downloaded the first part of the update

Rebooted the phone and set the phone up for my google account ok

But now I cant download any apps off the market place even though I can search for them and view them ok

Also the "Factory Data Reset" bit has gone from the Settings, Security bit as well so I cant reset the phone back to the beginning again

Any help would be great

Might want to try over at XDA Developers.

My OTA update worked fine, but the Factory reset option is under 'SD Card' in Settings, not 'Security' on my handset.

I have reset my phone again lets hope all is ok for when 2.1 comes out
