Help a brother out ;) Playing streaming media..

[Phases]

I don't have time to dig in right now, and will this weekend if I need to but, is there an app out that will stream the following two URLs:

http://droidtest:droidtest@live.str3am.com:3120/secure

http://onyx.streamguys.com/pianosolo?u=droidtest&p=droidtest

niether of these are formated as RTSP by the looks of it. the dorid will stream h.264 video using the RTSP streaming format. dogma player allows you to do that.

Hmm, so basically they won't play on the droid at this time, in that format. ?

Have you tried replacing http:// with mms:// for the URL? Its a bit of a workaround for some streams for the n900's native player.

First stream works "as is", but that's not helping you. I created a thread about a similar issue...someone recommended DroidLive.

AOR would do it I beleive because it is asking me for an icecast account that I do not have.
