Help Help Accessing Bootloader on Wildfire S

Hello Everyone,

I feel really dumb right now. This seems like an easy task to perform, but nothing that I have tried has worked.

I am trying to access the bootloader screen and have tried the following methods:

- Turned off phone > held the Volume_DOWN button and while holding it pressed the Power button once (while still hold the Volume_DOWN button)

That didn't work so I tried the following:

- Turned off 'fast boot' in the power settings > turned off phone > held the Volume_DOWN button and while holding it pressed the Power button once (while still hold the Volume_DOWN button)

That also didn't work so I tried the following:

- Turned off 'fast boot' in the power settings > turned off phone > removed battery > held the Volume_DOWN button and while holding it pressed the Power button once (while still hold the Volume_DOWN button)

That also didn't work, so now I am asking for help please. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Kristin

Yeah, mine can be a bit finicky too. It works most times for me if I keep my finger on the power button for a couple of seconds as it's turning on.

If that fails, you can do it via the SDK if you have that installed? Navigate to the folder where ADB is located via the command prompt, then type:

Code:
adb reboot bootloader
