Bought a Fascinate from a guy on CL who canceled his VZW account and is now at TMobile. I go to activate the Fascinate and it says it is still activated to another line which is not possible because the guy no longer has a VZW account and the phone will not call, text, or web browse etc. I call VZW customer service and they tell me they can not do anything because the ESN/MEID is forever tied to that guys account until his VZW number is recycled through the system and the old ESN/MEID is replaced by a new one. Is there a way to get around this or a way to change the ESN/MEID?
