HELP - android will only charge with USB

my rooted Samsung Galaxy s2 will only charge when connected to USB to my laptop I've tried 6 different wall chargers and sockets that work with my friends phone none work help it's rely getting annoying bringing my laptop everywhere

a few hints about my phone:
it's rooted
its running cm 10.1
it's unlocked

have you tried a different cable? that was the issue for me evo 4g.

Have you been using an official charger for your device, like Samsung make and everything?

Sometimes chargers are device specific even though they all use the Micro USB port, like I know sometimes my Gnex is pretty specific.

Otherwise it could be some bent pins within your device that would cause the device to not be able to charge.

yup the wall charger i use is the one that came with the phone and so is the ubs

Sounds like the adapter thing is broken. Have you tried a different charger?
