Root HELP!! annoying mms force close issues!!

Its indeed very odd. All I can suggest is try another rom / version of that rom see if its the same. If you wiped data and dalvik cache etc, theres not much else you can do.

I know mate. Im completely stumped meself! Ive moved from MIUI version 12.11 to 12.18 and yes I wiped completely so that didnt correct the problem either. Perhaps my phone just simply refuses to play nice with MIUI :rolleyes:

Ive noticed my wifi and network singal fluctuates alot on stock version so Im gona change kernel as a last throw of dice. Ive read vork xmas edition is very stable so I might give that a go. Will I lose my settings if I flashed new kernel?
 
Only you Set CPU clocking settings as they were set with another kernel. Just need to autodetect settings and its sorted.
 
I found loads of CPU apps on market. Do I need to download one and select autodelect?? Which app is the best one??

UPDATE: Ive downloaded CPU tuner but I dunno what Im doing!!?:confused:
 
All I meant is if you are using SetCPU to overclock, you will need to autodetect to pick up the new kernel. If you're not using SetCPU, nothing to bother with. Of course you can't overclock.

Right ok. Ive never used SetCPU before. I understand it will make my battery last longer but when I used CPU tuner couple of apps werent opening so I deleted it so I wonder if it's worth the hassle.

As for mms force closes issues. Im going to try one more thing. From now on Im going to delete text messages as soon Ive read them. Its a temporary solution lets see if that works. :rolleyes:
