Help asap android blu 4.5 tank cell password

hey can anyone help. I bought a Blu Tank 4.5 Android phone and its got to have a password....I have not placed a SIM card in it. yet. can anyone telll me how to do a HARD reset and wipe phone or reset password. PLEASE PLEASE HELP

Is this something that might best be answered by the carrier or the store where you purchased it? (they might have information that we do not yet have).
