Thats what it says when i tried this on odin i got a samsung galaxy s3 I9300

Sorry for the late reply but can I assume your device is in "download" mode?

Edit: also, be sure that Kies is disabled. ODIN and Kies do not play well with each other

What exactly are you trying to do root or flash firmware?
