Help Help! Boot loop but working sometimes.

Hello,

I just bought a second-hand yet "good quality" HTC Desire and it's boot-looping at the HTC logo screen but starting up with no problems sometimes. It was also randomly shutting off when I first started using it, although this hasn't happened in a while.

I have very little technical knowledge of mobiles, but it seems people are posting the information on the hboot screen here, so if this helps:

The seller is suggesting this may be a battery problem, but is also offering a replacement. Advice/fix would really be helpful.

Have you done another factory reset? Apologies if it seems glaringly obvious but one step at a time
