Root Help - bootloader stuck!!!

New Droid X

Goofed around.. screwed it up rooting and installing roms somehow.
Have read lots of forum posts, yet have not found a solution to this.

My screen is reading as shown below:

Bootloader
30.04
Err:A5,70,70,00,1F

MEM_MAP Blank
Service Req'd
Battery OK
OK to Program
Connect USB
Data Cable

I have used rsd lite 4.8 to flash the following files.. none have helped:

VRZ_MB810_2.3.15_1FF_01.sbf
SHADO_X6_2.3.32_RECOVERY-ONLY.sbf
SHADO_X6_2.3.13_SYSTEM-ONLY.sbf

Please HELP!!!!

You should be able to flash 2.2.320 without issue. I pulled a friends DX from this same issue on Wednesday.

PJ, do you know if I can use the Droid X 2.3.32 Full SBF.zip listed there with having Bootloader version 29.01?

I did it to go from 2.2.09 to 2.3.32 but I'm not certain that is the bootloader I was on. You can always go up one level in that link and select the "Update Files" folder There is a link to upgarde to the new bootloader and then you can upgrade to the .320 system. I believe the .320 sfb will work on older bootloaders since it upgrades the bootloader itself, but the system only .340 file will only work with 30.03/30.04 bootloaders.

Believe it's the same file
Sorry, I wasn't aware. I didn't think phones with drastically different hardware could share an sbf file. How could a Droid 2 sbf be set up to know that your phone doesn't have a keyboard, is capable of 8MP pictures and 720P video, and has an HDMI output when none of those are present on the device the file is made for? If you want to use that file, by all means, feel free but I wouldn't recommend it to other users when the proper files are available.

Good Point. I may be wrong.
