Root Help!!!!!! Buttons are useless

ok so in an attempt to renal my buttons on my nook color I deleted the file that designates the uses of buttons so I have no volume key now and no power key. I need help now!!! like no lie, if I don't figure this out within an hour its going to die, and with no power key to wake it up, it wont turn on!!! please help!!!!

Can you restore it with root explorer?

Also, what ROM are you running?

If CM on eMMC you should be able to reinstall easily enough or do a factory reset.
If CM on SD, you can just pull the SD card.
If stock rooted (presumably), you can always do a factory reset.

Can you actually lock out the power-up with the power button that way? I thought it was lower level than that.

Why can't you stick it on the charger while you figure this out?

I'm using an older version of root explorer too, and I can't update

wait I just did ok its the latslest one

fixed. it. I restored my nook to a previous backup using Rom manager
