Help Help cannot connect USB

Hey I am not able to connect USB.
Whenever I connect my USB to PC it starts charging instead of showing me USB connected popup on status bar.
Is my wire damaged our due to hybrid ROM.
Can anyone with hybrid 2 ROM try to connect to USB.
Please help I need USB right now.

Usb working for me,m on hybrid 2 again...it's weired.
Try disabling USB Debugging and re-enabling while connected to pc.
