Help HELP--can't add a google account

mamun_oo7

Lurker
I have a galaxy nexus with ics 4.1.1. I force stopped and cleared data of "google services framework". Then I started to facing problems like "google play" does not notify me about updating apps even I does not get notification from "gmail". I thought somehow my phone is no longer connected to my google account. So i removed it and did factory reset. Now I can not add my google account to my phone even I can't explore internal storage and can't install any ".apk" file.

I searched internet but haven't got any solution.

please someone help me....

I have to think there are some corrupt Android files on your phone and that the next step would be to try and reload a new Android image. You can find the factory images available for download here. The steps for loading the factory image onto the device is similar to rooting. If you have a GSM (i9250) Nexus, you can find instructions on how to install the factory image here. If you have a Verizon Nexus, you can find instructions here, and the Sprint Nexus instructions are here.

Before you try this, make sure you have read through all the instructions and understand the steps. I will say that it is easier, once you are doing it, than it sounds but you do need to understand the instructions and ask if you have questions.
