help, cant text video??

[roland365]

trying to send a video thru text and its saying its too large. i wanted to know if anyone else has this problem and how can u send videos ..lmk

[tonyy1]

isn't the max std size for texts 1 meg? I hit that with trying to send pictures also, so I just send them via email from the phone.

where do u change that....settings in the camcorder or main settings? usually how long would 1 mg be?

[tonyy1]

open up the camcorder, and then menu/settings, you have a couple options there, you can change the max size to 1 meg for "recording length" or you can change the resolution also. size wise it would depend on if you were recording audio as well. hope it helps.

1MB of video is probably going to be a few to several seconds, again depending on if there is audio or not.

I just did a test, with Audio off, 5 seconds of video was 454KB. So you're looking at approximately 10 seconds of video without audio.
