Help HELP!! Cant turn off GPS

Hi all.

I only got my tablet on Saturday But im loving the new Tim Rom. I have tried to use my Sygic sat nav on it today but it never managed to find enough satellites to make it work and when i go back to the menu to turn GPS off to save the battery i can un-check the tick box, but when i come out of the menu it re-checks itself and wont turn off. I have tried powering off the tablet but when it comes back on GPS stays on. Does anyone know how to turn it off? I have tried task managers and all sorts but it just wont turn off. Please help.

Try turning off the 'use wireless networks' and then turn off 'use gps satellites', if the sat symbol stays off you can re-enable the 'use wireless networks' if you want to ...failing that.....its a re-flash of the firmware I'm afraid....its a well reported problem.
