I just got my new white evo yesterday and after have a little fun with it i try to charge off my laptop and when i look at it next... its dead and wont turn on just get a flashin orange and green led... i get a new battery and try to put it in phone and it works... i go to charge it at the end of the night and its not charging at all? i look at my battery description and every time i plug in the charger it says discharging and kills the battery percentage? anyone know how to fix? or just get a new phone? i really dont feel like waiting but i will if i have to

Trader asks you the important question of whether or not you're using the stock charger/cable, and if you're seeing the problem wall charging and charging off your computer's USB port as well.
You may be correct when you say that a new device could be the only remedy, because you may have a defective one. But it's a bit less hassle to try another charger/cable than exchanging the phone, so I'd go to the store and take the trouble to purchase a new charger/cable, but it's your call; you may not want to go to that expense if you can get an exchange at no cost.

i have tried three different chargers the stock charger, one i got from ebay for another phone, and my friend let me use his earlier, each of them did not do a thing. when i tried to charge my phone it completly drains the battery and doesnt charge at all. just keeps saying discharge on the phone
