Root HELP! Clockworkmod Recovery

Hey All,

I am having some issues updating to 3.x version of clockworkmod Recovery. I am a long time root user (June of 2010). The current version of recovery is 2.5. something. I go into Rom Manager and select flash new recovery to 3.0.5 or something like that. I reboot into Recovery and it is still 2.5 (Green text). I reboot and Rom Manager says I am on 3.0 but that isn't correct. I have tried other methods for flashing recovery such as ADB Shell but I can't mount the SDcard on the command prompt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I try to use ADB Shell to install the recovery.img ADB will not mount the SDCARD... not sure if that is part of my issue?

Go into settings and make sure "erase recovery" is checked.

If not, check it and go back into ROM manager and try it again.

I figured it out. Not sure if it is a prerequisite or not but I did the unrevoked for life patch S-off and now I can reflash the Recovery.

I can't roll back to an older version of ClockWork Recovery older than 3.0.0.5. Where and how can get get an older version. I don't see it in ROM Manager anymore.

I'm not sure if it was part of the solution, but I did that and reflashed Recovery. When I rebooted into Recovery, I was finally running verion 3.0.0.8. It couldn't hurt do to both, of course. ;)
