HELP Contact Pictures & Facebook

On my htc inspire, all I had to do was sync my contacts with facebook and their contact pictures were linked to their facebook pictures so that most of my contacts had a picture. Not necessary but it does look nicer. Any ideas on how to do this on the GN2. I've tried everything I know, I'm not very bright about how things work internally but I'm usually pretty good at figuring out software but apparently not this time. Detailed instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Settings/ Scroll down to accts - Facebook (if you've installed it)/ tap your name you see sync options.

I un-synced my FB contacts as it literally added everyone on my friends list to my contacts which isn't what I wanted.

If you literally just want to set your existing contacts' FB profile pics as their contact pic on your phone then you can just open their profile pic on the FB app, press the menu button, select 'set as' and then choose 'contact picture'.

It's quite a long process if you have lots of contacts you want to add pictures to, but it's better than having hundreds of FB friends/acquaintances added to your phone contacts....for me, anyway.
