Root Help*!* cpu wont read my phone

when i plug my optimus m up to my laptop win7 is not reading it at all, i also don get anything to pop up on my phone, i downloaded the driver to my cpu and then i downloaded one for my phone

*debugging is checked

HELPPP!!
 
It would be your operating system that is not recognizing your phone as a drive. If you went to LG (I think that is your manuf.) and downloaded the correct drivers for your laptop (pay attention to 32 or 64 bit) and installed them correctly and you are still having problems, email LG.
