Help Help! Cracked Screen...

Me and my girlfriend were fooling around and after we were done I realized my tablet was underneath us! Oh no!



It does not respond to any touch. Is it forever done or can I replace the screen? I don't want to pay to replace the screen if there is something internally messed up. Thanks for your help in advanced. I'll check back soon.

from the looks of it its just the screen and I'm not familiar enough with the screen to know if it done some other kind of damage.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Unfortunately a replacement screen is about $140, I've been looking for one for my busted up N7 too. Mine reacts pretty much the same as yours.

Join the club of thousands!!! It MAY still work with a mouse, but looks terrible. This may allow you to reset the defaults to rid it of email accts, etc.

I accidentally broke mine after two weeks. (Wish I had your reason!!!!) My call to Google, who I purchased it from, was brief and "not our problem, call ASUS".

I checked with two local electronic repair shops and they were unable to buy the parts yet. You will find the glass for sale on the Internet and Ebay, but I have read that is inferior glass and will easily break.

I called ASUS and they estimated the repair to be $150 +$10 shipping. I had it repaired and it works fine. Takes about two weeks.

I ended up filing a claim with my credit card holder (Mastercard) and after a few weeks they repaid me for the repairs minus the shipping cost.
