Help Help! Droid X messaging problems!

Same issue for me. Can receive mms just fine and all other data works fine, but can't for the life of me send them. I've tried with and without wifi turned on, airplane mode, battery pull... no difference.

I have had my Droid X about a month and yesterday I started having trouble with mms. I do not have task killer but I did try the wifi for the first time just recently and had it running when this all started.

Last night I would get "nationwide network unavailable." I was able to pull the battery and get it to work initially but today I cant send any mms, depending on who I am trying to send them to I get "nationwide access unavailable" or "invalid destination address" Even though I have a full 3G signal and the numbers I am texting are ones I have previously been able to text.

Tonight I called tech support and they had me mms different contacts as well as a verizon dummy number. I was able to mms Verizon and mms a friend that has AT&T service and whom I don't mms very often but the numbers I have been unable to mms still wouldn't work. Verizon tech support tried everything including having me pull the battery and reinstall the software and nothing has corrected the problem. They have a work order in (I guess checking the service in my area which is in Florida) and said they would contact me within 24 hours. Starting to look like I will have to get a new phone too :(

I should also mention that I am having problems receiving mms messages, I get a "message not received error" and when I try to download it, it just won't work....

Not sure what handcent is? If it is an app, I don't have it so thats not my problem.

Great to know...this is the exact same issue I'm experiencing so let me know how it turns out. If you have a work order number or case no. that would be great...I'll call tech support and tell them to reference that, if they can get it fixed for you.

I did not even think about asking for a work order number :o I should hear from them today though, when I do I will be sure to post back. This is such a weird (frustrating) problem.

Update: They called and are sending it higher up and that it will be a few more days. I did get the ticket#, I pm'd it to you.
