urinal and it got a little wet (ill let you guess with what) and it still works but when i push any of the buttons of the key board it acts as it i am holding it down for a long time but im not. is there any hope for my phone, or should i start looking into a replacement? im hoping that i can fix it with the old rice trick, but im not gonna hold my breath

any help with this???

Take as many covers off as you can, pull the battery, and place in a bag of rice for 24hrs. Cook rice and feed to enemies.

I hope it wasn't full of piss though. Public urinal that's been pissed in a million times a day and if it was a bar twice that. I hope you at least clean it off before you hold it up close to your face. I heard this phone is strong as some have fished it out of a lake and tried to dry it out as much as possible using the rice trick.

Rice trick worked for me when mine fell in the toilet.

Sounds like some need to be more cautious while multitasking....seriously though rice trick does work also don't ever try to turn the device on while its still wet.

On a sort of related note, I dropped two old-school razr's in the toilet. Both were entirely improbable coincidences of bad luck (no I wasn't talking and wee'ing at the same time). The replacement one for the first was dropped in the toilet the first day I had it... but I was much wiser the second time around and immediately pulled the battery and allowed it to basque in the sun for 2 days.

Long story short, if you are quick to take the battery out and let it dry (either by sunlight or in a bag of rice) your phone will probly come out of it okay.
