Help help: evo vs. car

Hi guys. I've had my evo since last year and so far no complaints. I got a new car with connectivity package(radio controls on wheel and usb ports in armrest) in march. The radio would boot up my music just fine from day 1. Recently (last 2 days) the car just says "cannot find files on device" and bounces me back to radio. It worked fine since the "gingerbread" OS nonsense and I haven't changed any files at all. I did try restarting phone and I can see the music files just fine with my file manager. Help please! <3

Still having this problem T.T I tried removing SD and putting back in. I resynced to PC and manually went in to check folder location, files, and such. I can still play music through music app but car can't find music on phone. I don't think its on the car end because I have no way to mess up those settings. I'm out of ideas Q.Q

In case anyone else has this problem, I thought i would contribute my resolution. I had a couple thousand photos on my phone and a larger than stock SD card. I backed them all up to PC and deleted thumbnails. The car scans the phone much faster than before and now it can play music again. Sorry if this was a "duh" post for anyone else >
