Help Help exchange email issues

I can't seem to make my phone connect to our exchange server via imap. The apple evangelist in our office got his iphone connected fine. I stooped to the level of asking him what his settings were and he smirked because he hates android and said its reasons like this why. He showed me a screenshot of his settings and I am using the same server setting, username format, and im sure my password is correct. What could I be doing wrong? Are there droid x issues with exchange servers? I can't even download attachments when I log in on my browser! Help!

that's cause you're using imap. go to your applications, click my accounts, click add account, then click corporate sync. that is where you set up exchange. there have been issues with exchange in the past, but the problems were in less than 2% of users.

if you continue to have problems, download touchdown. it is a $20 program, but you get a free 10 day trial. i suggest trying it out. it's a GREAT application for exchange users.

The OTA 340 update is supposed improve exchange issues too.

No problems here before or after OTA, but yes, you need to setup a corporate account for exchange.
