Help fix my sd card

The Flex forum is pretty quiet, but I think this is generic enough where someone can help you here. If you can go into settings and choose about phones and let us know what Android version you are using.

I have had my card in my S4 become unreadable on a few occasions. Couldn't recover data but was able to format and re-use. As rootabaga says back up all of your data including SD card

Yes, connect it to a PC using a card reader, however, I couldn't get Windows to do it. THe program I use is HP USB Disk Storage Tool. A quick Google and you should find it
For reliabiity and security I recommend SD Formatter rather than the OS native format command.

The dedicated SD formatter can fix all sorts of card problems, some of which are actually caused by formatting with the generic formatter on a PC. It doesn't do data recovery but it's the definitive tool for reformatting a SD card.
