okay...

Miui link (post #4) - [ROM][MIUI] 1.3.18 for 2.2 [MULTI LANG] XJ: D2EXT X-PART, A2SD/+, D2W - xda-developers

Currently have leedroid 2.2.b. My memory card is partitioned with Rom Manager with 512mb ext2 i think (not sure how to check this).

To use A2SD+ with MIUI it says i need an ext3/4 partition. So how would i go about this? do i need to delete my ext2 or whatever? Or even can i do that?

Sorry if it's a noob question :)

Thanks for any help

'If 1) download a partition manager onto your PC, mount the SD card as "USB Storage" from Clockworkmod recovery and see what the partitions read as. Personally I use MiniTool Partition Wizard. Its good for viewing partitions but nothing else.

DO NOT try to repartition the SD card from using Minitool. You can use this software to reformat and delete partitions only, but you should use Gparted to re-partitio

okay just making sure before i do anything... Im guessing this is the part i am supposed to do? As in i use this to delete my ext2 partition and then create a new partition as ext3 using the rest of your guide?

god my head hurts haha

right thanks very much :) il use gparted to get this ext2 partition to an ext3...

hopefully it won't be me starting a 'i finally freaked and smashed my desire' thread any time soon :P

3) Connect your device in Recovery mode and mount as USB mass storage

sorry for the stupid question... but how do i go about this? do i connect it to the pc and then whilst it is connected reboot my phone into recovery mode? or do i reboot it into recovery mode and then connect it to the pc?

It matters not. Either way. Then mount as usb mass storage is an option in the mounts and storage menu of clockwork.
