Help Help for 4G setup

Hi all, I just bought new metropcs Samsung Indulge for a week.
I just found my Indulge didn't show any 4G connection at all since I bought it. Is there any setting I have to use to turn it on. I live at Elmhurst, NY btw and I believe there are 4G service at there.
 
Go back to the store and tell them to correctly setup your device. When I got mine, 15 minutes into it, I went back in the store to tell them my 4g was not showing up, 2 minutes later, I was humming along on 4g. I strongly suggest you go to the store first.
 
Hopefully you dont have a defective unit. I purchased my phone and it would not work with 4g. had to exchange it for other phone. Good luck.
 
Hmm, I've just encountered the same issue with 4G not showing up although this occurred to me after my phone was temporarily disconnected from a late payment. I took it to it to the Metro PCS corporate store but they couldn't fix it :\ So now I have to wait 5 days to get a new one replaced! And I also have to pay $10 since it's over the 30 day return.

Kinda sad that I'm going to have to restore all the crap that I did to my current indulge. Root, bloatware removal, jingle removal, custom launcher, and wifi tether (Which I didn't get to test yet since the 4G hasn't been working since I was able to download it)
 
After went to store, they said 4G was down in NY at that time. I found 4G signal after while, btw if something wrong with my indulge they said will reorder new one to exchange mine coz still under warranty 1 year.
