Hold your finger on the empty space where you want the clock to be. A menu will pop up with the option to add widget. Click on that option and then select clock. Select the clock you want and click "done".
Click on the + in the lower right hand corner, then on Widgets then Clock (with HTC in grey just underneath), then the arrow in the lower right a couple of times - and there you go (hopefully)
