So I Have a bone head question- here goes-
I have an ex-Sprint evo 4g flashed and rooted to metro pcs and absolutly no complaints everything works like it should. But about a month ago I noticed a bright spot on the white or light colored screen, now I have one above it about the same size and two more small ones up and to the right respectivly of the bigger ones. I called htc and they had me do some tests and seemed to figure it was not software related so they said its under warranty and they sent me a rma number to send it back to htc customer support in Texas.
Now before I send it is there any way to save the flashing and rooting done so I don't have to pay someone again to make it work for metro pcs again? I was told the service center would wipe the phone. Will anything void them warrantying the screen since it was flashed and rooted. Is there a way to return it to stock?
sorry about the lame questions but I am a noob at this and love this phone for only 30/mo. but the screen thing bugs me!
any links to threads would be great of walk-throughs better. thanks !!!! Curt
