Root help! from CM7 to SSX to SBF .340 to bootloop

Here is the path I took:

I was on CM7-->SSX-->SBF via RSDlite and the file "2.3.34_1FF_01.sbf"

It finished fine, but afterwards it was stuck in a bootloop when it tried to restart the phone.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Am I flashing the wrong file?

after sbf, try to hard reset the phone (power and home button at the same time). then wipe data and cache, and it should boot up normally
 
ok, i was able to sbf, and i got back to 340 stock no problem.

installed root via z4root, and d2 bootstrapper, no problem.

but now, I am trying to get back to 595 or 596 to install zombiestomped. I flash either 595 or 596, and when I reboot after the flash, the moto logo comes up for a second, and then the phone appears to turn off. The phone then turns on and off intermittently.

I can get into the stock recovery, but I can't get into bootstrapper.

help?
