Help HELP - G2 screen white/grey with black corners

Took phone out of pocket, pressed power button and was greeted with white/grey screen with slight vertical lines and one predominant vertical line in the middle. As the screen stays on, the corners darken and the dark corners increase till the screen looks like it does in attached photo. Screen also flickers. Phone receives notifications as usual.

Could it be flex cable needs reconnecting or screen completely damaged? and how would this have happened sitting in my pocket as usual???

Mine is having the same exact problem.

It had a dead battery for most of the day, and I was in the car, plugged in the car charger and it slipped and dropped. I turned it back on while charging and now this.

I left it charging for about 2 hours from USB port (computer) and it's still doing the same thing.

Any luck with yours?

Edit:

Just called and said it was under warranty. $20 to ship to my door 2-day express. Otherwise $10 for 5-7 days. (No insurance)

Haha, I don't even see any information about the phone being on it's way. We'll see what happens...

yeah, got it in two days. first one was doa so they sent another one-2 days again. it's working now, so it's all good i guess
