Help HELP: Galaxy S won't start recharging unless I reboot it first!

My Galaxy S won't recharge unless I reboot it first. Without rebooting I can hook up the charger and nothing happens. After rebooting it starts recharging immediately. Its not the wall charger because it does the same thing with my car charger. I googled the issue and can't find anything about this. Everything else with the phone works great.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Ooops, sorry about that! I didn't notice this was for the S2. I can't find a delete button for this thread, but thanks for the heads up. I'll post this same thing in the Galaxy S forum.
