Guys. Is there an official gingerbread for galaxy mini? i have rooted my device just now. and now, i want my galaxy mini to become gingerbread. my current OS is froyo. thanks in advance brothers!

First thing you don't need root to upgarade to Gingerbread..infact becouse the root firmware can be denied for upgrading thru KIES and make a big problems.

If you want to upgrade to Gingerbread via Odin.

1. Unroot your phone
2. Take out SIM card and SD card out
3. Upgrade your phone via Odin using Stock ROMs(install KIES so USB draivers can be installed properly for your phone via Odin)

Download stock ROMs : Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 Original Stock ROMs Firmware Packaged ~ Android Solution

Download Odin: GT-S5570_GT-S5830_GT-S5670_Odin_Multi_Downloader_v4.38.exe


For the the Stock ROMs web site if you scroll the page down is explained how you ugrade your phone. And the most important you don't install what ever you want you need to select firmware for you country region.

also imo you should unlock before flashing as it can have a negative effect, you can then flash other ROMs. (i was on Tesco uk 2.2.1, now on xwkth poland 2.3.6)

these you can flash using ODIN.
