Help HELP! Google search problems.

GOOGLE SEARCH both voice search and type search states "unfortunately app stopped working" I can not even report it.... it was working up until about 2pm EDT today! HELP!!!!

Have you tried a simple reboot?

Failing that, you could try to clear the cache on the Google Voice app...

Go settings>storage>apps> chrome>uninstall updates then, open google play store>menu>my apps and games>see update for chrome, tap to update, reboot device/restart device.

Won't work. Google Search app does not use Chrome, but is a separate app in itself.

To OP. You could do what he says, just substitute "Google" or "Search", may vary depending on phone, and clear the updates for that.
