Hi All,
Ok so I have run into a problem since January after having the phone for maybe 3 weeks.
I don't exactly remember how i managed to flash the phone but I did as it was getting updates from Samsung and not Google, so I just put on the Google image by holding down the power + volume buttons and did all that jazz. (Don't ask technical question about versions, etc coz i have no idea and I'm a bit of a n00b when it comes to stuff like that)
It was working for maybe a week but then the power button was becoming unresponsive. Could not turn on the phone. When plugged in via the charged the battery icon/charging icon appeared.
NOW, when I plug in to my PC WITHOUT the battery, it comes up in device manager with OMAP 4400 and is stuck on a loop, I manually installed the google driver and then it "ADB driver" keeps looping as well!
POWER + VOLUME combo doesn't work neither does USB connection then inserting battery, once the battery is inserted it just appears as though it's charging.
I have searched online and have NOT found any real solution except for sending it in to be replaced, but I bought it from eBay.
ANY SUGGESTIONS? WHAT'S DEAD? THE FIRMWARE/PHONE/BOOTLOADER?
Any way to reset the phone back to it's original form? Or some way without access bootloader as it's not working?
