for some reason my desire randomly reboots itself when im watching a video, playing games, or just using some app. and when it reboots itself, it reboots like 5+ times. when it gets to the unlock screen, or even while its stil starting up, it reboots and vibrates as it normaly does when u turn it on. did i dload an app with a virus or something????? the battery/phone isnt hot when this happens, but sometimes it is. like if i turn my phone on, and start playing a game, my desire would reboot itself a few times, the battery isnt hot cus i just turned it on.

sometimes it just FREEZES at the initial screen when it reboots and vibrates, and i have to take the battery out. this has happened MANY times!!..rebooting and freezing...how do i solve this??

i have used 80 percent of internal space and 45 percent of sd card memory space so im good with memory just so u know, not sure if memory is a cause of this??

First check if the battery is sitting firm in its compartment and the contact are firmly connected.

The rebooting behavior is obviously not normal, so you need to check if there is no software issue. I'd suggest to backup your data and do a factory reset. Then try to restore your apps little by little to see if any of them is causing the issue. If you are using any task killer, then get rid of it.

the battery and card are both fine. i dont use a task killer, but i use this widget that kills all tasks, it came with the phone.. its an x inside a black box..how it looks like.

k how do i back up all my stuff anyways? and factory reset? what happens after that?

You can use apps to backup your data, like MyBackupPro (contacts, calendar, sms, etc).

Factory reset will return the phone to the original state when you bought it. So, after the reset, you start re-installing your apps again and restoring your data from backup.
You can restore your apps little by little to see if any of them is causing the phone to reboot.
