Root Help... HTC Sync?

I'm about to root my phone and Unrevoked is telling me to make sure HTC Sync is not installed. I don't see anything under Applications that is titled HTC Sync. Also, everything that is HTC has Uninstall grayed out. Am I missing something?

HTC sync is a program for your PC, not the phone.

When I rooted it said to download it then uninstall it. Reason being is it holds the drivers needed for your phone and the PC to interact and thats all you need.

-There have been reported cases of the actual sync program messing up root.

My recommendation is to download it to the PC, install it, then uninstall it.
