I need some help.. this is what I have.. 7 inc generic tablet with 1.3 MP camera.. Also other specs: model number: generic. kernal version: 2.629-00236-g4f8dbbb-dirty, build number: WMT2.1-88.. RAM: 128MB SDROM 3. CPU: VIA VT8505+ ARM926 .. Android OS 1.6
I am good with electronics but I need some help..
I do not know how to get the barcode scanner to work.. Its installed. Loaded it and alls I had was a flashing red line on my screen. Placed a bar code in front of the camera but nothing. Even gave it time also. i even hooked up an external 5.0mp camera to the tablet and still nothing. (now If I could get this to work, I would be happy)
I am interested in trying to get this updated to OS 2.1.. Even if I have to start from scratch.. (I have the vending.apk but it states cannot be installed on this device). So I think i need 2.1 to get a lot of these items to work properly.
I have modded Wii's and unlocked phones before so I hope this is enough experience for this.
So get back to me plz.
