Root Help installing a theme

Did you try doing the build.prop edit manually?

If you do, reboot and it should be in the market -> search for Voice Mail and it will show up at the top, at least on mine it did. :)

You can get VVM back, you just need to edit the build.prop file in the /system/ folder, using root explorer. Download the app from the verizon part of the app market, and then edit this into the build.prop file:

change ro.HorizontalVVM=True to ro.HorizontalVVM=false -> reboot and it should work.

(if this doesn't work, edit the build.prop file first and then download the app again)Oh and you won't get an extra bill - but you might want to consider using google voice instead since it's free. You can route your voicemail to your google voice #.

it says
# BEGIN Motorola, pkd348, 26-APR-2010
ISHADOW-4035
# true Horizontal VVM is preloaded, not allow to install standalone version of VVM from Android Market
# false Horizontal VVM is not preloaded
ro.HorizontalVVM=false

does this mean i should make it true?

it should be listed as false - did you search the market (not the verizon section only) for 'Voice Mail', like I have listed it, with a space? The first one listed is from Verizon Wireless.
