Help Help installing HTC Keyboard

Hello, I just tried to install the HTC Keyboard just for kicks and to check it out, got the files here

[MOD] HTC_IME (8th June) v27: Small fix - xda-developers

I installed everything and when I long click and try to switch to the HTC Keyboard (it does show up and I did check the check mark in settings) the keyboard just goes away, has anyone else installed this and did it work?? Thanks,

i like it , very smooth ,
remind me of the iphone 3 KB
with Mic
use it for andriod market search , txt
search contacts
anywhere keyboard is use
i like it better then better kb , smart kb keypurr
try them all
since i wanted to break this stupid phone the frist 2 days i got it
so much typo and took me 3 times longer to txt vs my Samsung
now im 1 happy camper
