Root Help Installing Hydra Kernel

I am trying to install Hydra Kernel overclocking rom #1 (Hydra Kernels - Overclocked Kernels) But I keep getting this error when installing. The error is as follows

Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E:signature verficiation failed
Installation aborted.

Currently running Frankenrom Senseless
Hydra Kernel Stock Undervolt
Radio 2.15.00.07.28

I tried installing all four but no luck, kept getting the same error.

In clockwork go to install from zip and click the toggle signature option so it says disabled and try.

No prob, same thing happened with me trying to flash roms. Which hydra kernel did you use? Im thinking of overclocking but im not sure what the stability issues are like.

So far it's very stable. I was using the stock undervolted but it didn't work with SETCPU.

i used to have hydra kernel but random reboot. this new kernel far better. no reboot and running smooth.

1442 quadrant and 38 on linpack

running on 2.5.2 vanilla

Flashing this now, I was using hydrakernel 1.13 ocuv but will give this a shot

Kings kernel didnt work, very unstable with lots of reboots.

Where can we download the stock kernel in case you want to roll back?

Also, is installing kernels as simple as installing the ZIP from SD card in recovery mode?

Yes, exactly the same. Boot into recovery > run nand backup > install from zip > locate your zip and select it > reboot. Easy!

name of zip file doesn't matter? or should I rename to update.zip?

I wouldnt rename it. Keep it like it is.

stock kernel..

I installed the overclocked hydrakernal #1 and it is just stuck at the boot screen. I know before i tried the hydrakernel it would keep rebooting. But this time it is just staying at the last boot screen image.. In the skyraider it is the eye with the red circles going back and forth.

It has been doing that for about 15 minutes now... what should i do? Wait till it does something, or pull the battery?
I read some where here that it is always a bad idea to pull the batter...
Please help..

Can someone explain to me the advantage in using a different kernel than the stock. I understand you get better performance, but the phone already runs great. Do you get better battery usage out of a different kernel?
